Economic and Housing Development Corporation of Dickson County

Overview
The Economic and Housing Development Board (EHDB) of Dickson County was created to serve as a strategic tool to support the development of industry, expansion of workforce and housing opportunities in Dickson County. Formed in 2025 by the Dickson County Commission, the EHDB operates as an Industrial Development Board with expanded authority to facilitate private investment, manage Payment-in-Lieu-of-Tax (PILOT) agreements, and support tax increment financing (TIF) structures. The Board plays a key role in advancing the county’s long-term economic vision and aligning development efforts with the County’s Comprehensive Plan.

Board Members
The EHDB is governed by a board of dedicated citizens appointed by the Dickson County Commission.

Projects & Initiatives
EHDB supports a variety of public-private partnerships and development projects across Dickson County. These include:
PILOT Agreements to support attainable and workforce housing developments, including LIHTC-financed projects.
TIF Districts that fund infrastructure upgrades tied to new residential and commercial development.
Site Development Partnerships for industrial recruitment and development.
Workforce Housing Initiatives that align with employer needs and regional development strategies.
